Why people go
Thailand gives more per shilling than almost anywhere: Bangkok for temples and markets, Chiang Mai for the north and elephants, Phuket and Krabi for beaches. Flights from Nairobi are long but competitive, and internal connections are cheap and frequent.
We use it for family holidays, honeymoons and incentive groups, and it is a common add-on to a Dubai stopover.
